These Terms & Conditions govern access to the Alder & Arc website and all purchases made through the store. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to these Terms & Conditions together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return & Refund Policy.

1. Merchant and scope

Alder & Arc is operated by Summit Point Ventures LLC. These terms apply to transactions placed through this website for delivery to the destinations made available at checkout.

2. One-time purchases

All products currently offered by Alder & Arc are sold as one-time purchases. Customers are not enrolled in subscriptions, automatic replenishment, recurring billing, continuity programs, or membership charges as part of any purchase shown on this website.

3. Statement descriptor

Completed card transactions are intended to appear on the customer’s statement under the descriptor Alden And Arc, subject to the display and truncation rules of the relevant card network, processor, and issuing bank.

4. Product catalog and pricing

The current catalog and one-time price points are listed below. All amounts are denominated in U.S. dollars (USD).

Shipping charges, discounts, taxes, VAT, customs duties, and other destination-specific amounts may apply in addition to the listed product price. The amount displayed and accepted during checkout governs the order submitted by the customer.

5. Currency and foreign exchange

All charges are presented and processed in USD. Customers using a card or account denominated in another currency may be subject to conversion rates, foreign-transaction fees, or other charges imposed by their bank or card issuer. Alder & Arc does not control those external fees or exchange rates.

6. Order submission and acceptance

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. Orders may be reviewed for payment authorization, billing/contact consistency, fraud prevention, inventory availability, shipping eligibility, or other legitimate operational reasons. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing error, inventory error, or shipping restriction.

7. Payment

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate payment, billing, contact, and shipping information. Payment information is handled securely during checkout. We do not retain full card numbers or card security codes.

8. Shipping and delivery

Orders are fulfilled from the United States and shipped to the destinations listed in our Shipping Policy. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by carrier performance, customs processing, local import requirements, holidays, weather, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

9. Customs, VAT and import charges

International shipments may be subject to VAT, customs duties, brokerage fees, import taxes, or similar charges. Responsibility for those amounts is described in our Shipping Policy and may vary by destination and checkout treatment.

10. Returns, refunds and cancellations

Returns and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy. Where an order has not yet entered fulfillment, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate cancellation requests. Once fulfillment has begun, a return may be required instead.

11. Product information and intended use

We aim to present product descriptions, images, dimensions, materials, and other information accurately. Minor differences in color, finish, texture, packaging, or presentation may occur. Customers are responsible for checking product dimensions and suitability for their intended space or use before purchase.

12. Customer responsibilities

Products must be used in accordance with their intended household purpose and any supplied assembly, fit, care, weight, installation, or safety guidance. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the intended mounting surface, cabinet, drawer, shelf, or other location is suitable for the product.

13. Intellectual property

Website content, branding, product names, text, layout, graphics, photography, and other materials owned or licensed by Alder & Arc may not be copied, reproduced, or commercially exploited without authorization, except where permitted by law.

14. Fraud, abuse and prohibited conduct

We may investigate or restrict activity that appears fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, or intended to misuse the store, payment process, promotional offers, return process, or customer-service channels.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Alder & Arc will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss arising from misuse of a product, use contrary to supplied instructions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any consumer right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

16. Governing rights

These terms are intended to operate alongside applicable consumer-protection laws. Customers in the United Kingdom and European Union may have mandatory statutory rights that apply in addition to these terms and cannot be waived by contract.
